Nuovi spoiler per la puntata da Ksite,
che ha cambiato titolo in Onyx - 25/01/2005

CITAZIONE
Added 1/25: We told you "Lexes" may only be temporary. The new title is "Onyx."
- A doctor named Sinclair is helping Lex with an experiment involving heating a meteror rock at the episode's start. At the end of the teaser, the temperature turns so high that the green meteor rock turns black. There is an explosion, and at teaser's end, Lex comes face to face with... a duplicate of himself.
- The "good" Lex is referred to in the script as "Alexander," much like the good version of Lex Luthor from an alternate world in DC's Crisis on Infinite Earths comic book.
- "Alexander" is seen with Dr. Sinclair in a hospital room after the credits roll. He says he saved Sinclair's life, and asked Sinclair if he saw another Lex Luthor. "I'm a swell guy, aren't I?" Alexander says.
- Alexander asks Sinclair if he can put "the two me's" back together.
- A security guard notices Lex coming through a second time in a row, and tells him he was just wondering. "I'm not paying you to wonder," "Alexander" tells him. The security guard's name is Martin. Alexander grins and calls him "Marty" on his way in.
- Clark and Lex meet inside of Luthorcorp. "This is what your experiment is about? Gardening?" Clark asks. "No. It's about the future," Lex tells him.
- Although Alexander was the name of the good Lex in Crisis on Infinite Earths, and this Alexander says things like "swell," we have no indication really which Lex is "the good one."
- Alexander makes a deal behind Lionel's back that really infuriates his father.
- We also get to see Alexander fencing yet again, something we haven't seen him do in a while. Look for some snarky banter with his female fencing instructor.

CITAZIONE
Teaser: Lex and Dr. Sinclair are at a Luthorcorp laboratory conducting an experiment which involves heating a green meteor rock with industrial laser beams inside a test chamber. Dr. Sinclair says he’s had to increase the “thermal variance by 98% should eliminate the separation impurity.” Lex says “If this works, we’ll change the world.” The intense heat causes the rock to look like a small green sun that causes a shimmer reaction to the plant seeds which are also inside the chamber. An alarm sounds when the thermal indicator climbs past 100%. They try to shut it down but there’s an explosion. The meteor rock turns black and flares. Lex saves Dr. Sinclair but Lex is caught in an energy blast. They’re both alright but in the test chamber a second Lex (“Alexander”) appears from the rubble. “Alexander” has a snake of blood on his face and grins as he watches Lex and Dr. Sinclair. It says it’s a chilling and foreboding moment.

Dr. Sinclair is at the hospital and he’s sedated. “Alexander” visits him and asks him if he remembers anything unusual from the accident. He continues that the explosion caused a separation and there’s “another Lex Luthor.” They talk about reversing the process and “Alexander” appears to have a cold demeanor.

"Alexander" tucks behind his back a gleaming silver 45. A security guard asks him if he didn't just come through a few minutes ago. He asks the guard if he's keeping taps on him now. The scared employee says he was just wondering. "Not paying you to wonder", Alexander threatens him saying that he pays him only to say "Thank you, Mr. Luthor. Have a nice day, Mr. Luthor" "You want to keep that check, or am I going to have to terminate you?" he says reaching for his gun.

Lex takes Clark to watch the experiment. "This is what your experiment is about? Gardening?" Clark asks. Lex says it's about the future.

We see "Alexander" fencing with Lex's beautiful instructor. Lionel interrupts and asks him what he is doing. "Seizing the moment, dad. Like you taught me." he replies. The instructor leaves, and Alexander gives her a playful smack on her butt as she goes.

Lionel and "Alexander" have an argument. Lionel accuses him of working behind his back. "Alexander" says is what Lionel would do. "People change, Lex", Pa Luthor replies. Alexander says they don't, that they just get sore. Lionel answers saying that he feels sorry for Lex and everything he's learned from him.

There’s a Jason and Lana scene where he promises to find out what happened and to not worry. Lana watches Jason leave and she seems upset. It doesn’t go unnoticed by Martha and she asks Lana if everything is alright. It’s a sweet scene as Martha offers advice saying “Just because someone doesn’t share everything doesn’t make them a bad person, Lana. And it doesn’t mean their feelings for you aren’t genuine. How much you’re willing to live with?” (question is, is Martha thinking about Clark or Jason cause both are ‘guys with secrets’) Lana is moved by Martha’s words.

Da KryptonSite anche se il titolo non è certo.

CITAZIONE
Through a Luthorcorp experiment, Lex is split into two beings - good side and bad side. "They both look strangely like Michael Rosenbaum, and you really get to see Lex's dark side," executive producer Alfred Gough teases.
- The title "Lexes" may only be temporary.
