CLARK AND LANA HEAD TO CHINA IN SEARCH OF A KRYPTONIAN CRYSTAL - After learning that Jason (Jensen Ackles) and Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) are in China searching for one of the mysterious kryptonian crystals, Clark (Tom Welling) and Lana (Kristin Kreuk) follow in the hopes of finding it first. Clark finds an artifact that leads them to the crystal, but he must battle Isobel, the witch, who has once again inhabited Lana's body in order to take the crystal for herself. Meanwhile, Lex has more information on the crystals than he is letting on. |
Da DTS - 04/01/05 | CITAZIONE | Dr. Virgil Swann's emissary, Dr. Bridgette Crosby, is back for this episode. She tells Clark that Dr. Swann passed away. Clark is speechless. Jonathan expresses his concern about the information that Dr. Swann had. Dr. Crosby ensured him that everything was destroyed per Dr. Swann's request. She then gives Clark the OCTAGONAL KEY which was not destroyed.
Dr. Crosby then tells Clark that Dr. Swann wanted her to go there to tell him that he can't ignore his destiny. Also that there are other forces at work and he is running out of time. Later at night, Clark goes to the caves with the Key on hand.
Lana is researching on Chinese Temples on the computer. She gets startled when she receives a call from Jason. She asked him if he is in Metropolis since she hears traffic noises in background. Jason tells her that he is in Las Vegas and advises her that Lex has sent him there on business and felt bad that that he didn't get a chance to say good-bye. She then asks if Lex is with him or he is flying "solo." Lana joking says, "You better stay that way (solo). I've heard stories about Vegas." (What stories is that Lana?). Their talk is cut short as a Chinese man is rushing Jason to end the call. Lana hears this and is confused.
It seems we finally get to see some Clark and Lana interaction! They get a "tip" from Lionel to head to China. We see Lana almost gets hit by a bicyclist. She moves in tight into Clark which he pulls his arm around her to shelter her until the cyclist passes. (Awwww).
Lionel told them to look for a green rooster. They see it on top of a store and spot Professor Mia Sen. They then go to a corner to talk about the Map. Professor Sen tells them of a myth dating back to 1000 BC of an "all powerful God" who came from another world and left a treasure behind in a Mystic Temple along with a map. Clark thinks it might be Jor-El or someone else from Krypton. Professor Sen furthers explain the Temple was ransacked by European bandits who stole everything inside. She then warns them to guard the Map, because as long as the Stone is out there, Fortune Hunters would be willing to kill for it.
Jason and Lex are captured by a Commander Cheng. It's seems Cheng has been bought off by someone with more money than Lex and double crosses him as he locks Lex in the room with Jason.
Later, we see both Jason (shirtless) and Lex in a torture chamber. Both are bound to the ceiling and being tortured by Commander Cheng with volts of electricity. Cheng is asking Jason where he got the map. He then asks Lex where is the location of the stone. Both stay silent. But wait! Cheng brings in the "big guns" and says to Lex, "Fine. If you won't talk, maybe the girl will." We then see Lana dragged in and placed on a wooden chair and strapped. Lex and Jason are in shock and try to get out of their restraints. Cheng flips the switch and electrical shocks goes into her. Her neck and head flips back and we see rapid-fire images in her eyes. Lana then whispers in Latin, "Transmit my soul." She breaks free. We then see her slam Cheng to the wall with strong force as she points her finger at him. Isobel is BACK!! Yay!

Da Kryptonsite - 04/01/05 | CITAZIONE | Dr. Crosby visits the Kents and informs them that Dr. Swann has passed away.
- Crosby tells them that "Everything has been destroyed at his request. Except for this." She gives them the Kryptonian key.
- By the way, casting material has gone out for Dr. Crosby which makes us wonder if Margot Kidder is returning.
- Dr. Crosby said that before he died, Dr. Swann told her to come see Clark and tell him he can't escape his destiny any longer. "There are other forces at work. You are running out of time," she says.
- Clark takes the octagonal key to the cave once again.
- Lex has some guards grab Jason. "Scare him. Find out what he knows, but don't hurt him," Lex instructs them.
- A man named Commander Cheng informs Lex that "there are people with more money than you." The crusade is on! This action is apparently taking place in China, by the way.
- It sounds like Clark and Lana are in China too, at a temple.
- Jason is being held in a torture chamber by Commander Cheng, underneath a temple. He asks Jason where he got the map.
- The whole gang has a little Scooby battling going on with Cheng, and then Lana goes "Transmit my soul!" in Latin and becomes Super!Isobel. We are not kidding here. It's like Jerrica using Synergy to turn into Jem or something. Isobel's witch powers slam Cheng into the wall.
