Da KryptonSite - 28/8/04
CITAZIONE
- In prison, Lionel meets a man named Edgar who has figured out the key to body transference based on the Kryptonian symbols and using a stone artifact. Lionel's goal is apparently to switch bodies with Lex, hence the title "Transference," but for some reason the transfer instead switches him with Clark.
- Lionel, in Clark's body, seems amazed by his newfound strength, in a scene where he holds a combine up for Jonathan.
- Edgar's cell in the Kansas State Penitentiary is filled with photos of Kryptonian symbols from archaelogical sites around the world, including the Kawatche cave. When Clark is first transferred into Lionel's body, he stands there, staring at what he sees. "You must be Lex," Edgar tells him, in awe that the transfer worked. Clark (who we will call "Lionel" in quotes from here on out since he is in Lionel's body) tells him he's not Lex - he's Clark Kent.
- Edgar reveals that the stone was supposed to be used on Lex. When "Lionel" asks where the real Lionel got the stone, Edgar tells him he's not supposed to say. Edgar finally 'fesses up, and tells him that the stone was found in an underwater Mayan ruin. The symbol on the stone is that of water - "the element of transformation."
- Edgar has a great understanding of pattern recognition, and he's figured out 17% of the Kryptonian symbols so far. Edgar reveals other patterns that we will first see in "Crusade" - including symbols of fire, air (which looks like an "8," perhaps like what was burned onto Clark in "Exodus"), and water. Edgar thinks if you put all three together you'll get knowledge beyond your wildest dreams. He admits he didn't even believe it for sure until this body-jump was just successful.
- We learn some of Edgar's backstory of why and how he ended up in prison. He believes that he was framed for embezzlement by one of his colleagues. "I'm a mathematician looking for hidden patterns in the Dead Sea scrolls. What do I want with money?" he tells Clark. He conveniently ended up sharing a prison cell with Lionel, who offered to help him out with lawyers if he would help Lionel with the symbols.
- "Lionel" asks Edgar if the real Lionel ever said why he was so obsessed with these things. "A dying man wishes to grab onto whatever hope he can, and he found his salvation in a hunk of rock," Edgar reveals. With that, Clark knows Lionel's secret - and that now, in Lionel's body, he, too, is dying.
- Lionel, in Clark's body, tries to get his money out of his Swiss bank account and convert the entire balance into bearer bonds. We learn in this scene that Lionel's mother's maiden name was Meehan.
- In Clark's body, Lionel stands shirtless in a mirror, admiring his own physique. He also pulls open his waistband and peeks down at his crotch, impressed. Guess someone with the initials L.L. is going to be pretty lucky someday!

CITAZIONE
The teaser for the episode begins with Jonathan and Martha watching Clark playing football, from the stands. Clark glances back at Assistant Coach Jason from the field also, but hey, you all don't start slashing until the season actually starts, okay? The Crows are one touchdown away from victory.
- Someone labeled in the script as "Lionel" (with quotes; could be Clark in his body, not sure from these pages) gets attacked by a skinhead with a screwdriver. The skinhead suggests playing "Who Wants To Beat A Billionaire."
- Martha makes a comment that Jonathan must have driven somebody. Lex can tell something is up with her voice. "Martha, I don't mean to pry, but is everything okay?" Martha stumbles, before a phone call saves her from having to answer. The voice on the phone is that of Lionel Luthor. Martha seems surprised.

Da DTS - 27/8/04
CITAZIONE
Edgar Cole, 29 years old, shares the jail cell with Lionel Luthor. The walls of the cell are taped with photos of Kryptonian symbols from archeological sites around the world, including the Kawatche cave. Edgar has a gift for deciphering hidden patterns, codes, and symbols. Lionel and Edgar have a special agreement - he’ll get “his big-shot lawyers to help get me out. In exchange, I helped him out with his symbols.”

Wondering how Edgar landed in jail? He was a mathematician looking for hidden patterns in the Dead Sea Scrolls when he got framed by his colleagues and charged for stealing millions of a university’s pension fund.

There’s a Mayan myth that has caused Lionel and Clark’s spirits to have switched into each other’s bodies. Lionel originally intended for the stone to be used on Lex. Lionel’s workers found this stoned artifact symbol in an underwater Mayan ruin. Edgar says it means “water – the element of transformation.” More symbols are read including the ones from “Crusade”...water, fire, and air (the “8” symbol). “Put the three together…Mayan myth about body-jumping became real.”

There’s a Jonathan and Clark scene. “Clark” is really Lionel but Jonathan doesn’t know this. He asks Clark to use his powers to lift the combine so he can repair it. “Clark” (Lionel) is amazed at discovering his super-strength ability.

Another “Clark” (Lionel) scene where he speaks French to a Swiss Bank Operator to switch his entire account balance into bearer bonds. Lionel’s mother’s maiden name is Meehan. During this call, “Clark” (Lionel) is shirtless admiring his physique which also includes pulling his waistband to peek down at his crotch.

“Lionel” who is really Clark is in the jail cell with Edgar. They talk about the symbols and the Mayan myth. “Lionel” (Clark) asks about why Lionel is so obsessed. Edgar replies “A dying man tries to grab onto whatever hope he can, and he found his salvation in a hunk of rock.” “Lionel” (Clark) goes to the mirror and sees the jaundiced reflection and makes the realization that he’s dying too.

Additional Spoilers

The Teaser begins with a football game at night. Martha and Jonathan are watching Clark from the stands. Clark glances at Jason on the sidelines before launching a pass to an opened receiver in the end zone. Suddenly he hears a “shrill ringing sound.”

“Lionel” (Clark) is in a heated discussion with a skinhead who is serving three life terms for murder. He is seeking "five large" from "Lionel" and came to collect his dues. For what? Take a while guess. The skinhead calls “Lionel” Trump throughout their discussion. When asked about the money, “Lionel” says he has no clue what he is talking about. Skinhead gets angry and threatens him and gives him till tomorrow to cough up the money. He kicks “Lionel” in the torso before walking away. “Lionel” fears for his life now. This concludes Act I.

The next day, at the Penitentiary yard, when “Lionel” was passing the weight bench, the skinhead grabs his arm and asks for his money. “Lionel” doesn’t have it and is asking for a few more days. Skinhead is not happy saying “You think this is some kind of game? There is no overtime here.” He then pulls out screwdriver and threatens “Lionel” with it.

They battle it out as they wrestle each other for the weapon (screwdriver). Inmates are circling them as they fight. Finally, as they fall to a weight bench, skinhead has the screwdriver close to “Lionel’s” jugular and ready to kill him. “Lionel” thinks fast and grabs for a dumbbell and smashes it into the skinhead’s skull. He is knocked out. The inmates then chant “Luthor.” “Lionel” is left disbelieved as the inmates worship him. A guard on the loudspeaker then calls for a lockdown telling the inmates to return to their cells.

Lex and Martha are talking at the Talon. Lex is concerned and asks Martha if there is anything wrong. She struggles to reply, but is interrupted by a waitress telling her that she has a phone call. Martha then gets it and is stunned. It's “Lionel” (Clark) on the other line. Dun dun dun.

The scene with “Clark” (Lionel) on the cell phone with the Swiss Bank Operator has been changed a bit. “Clark” (Lionel) is now using a tape recorder of Lionel's voice to speak with the operator in order to pass the voice verification process. It’s successful and the operator reads out this bank balance.

In the Kent kitchen, “Clark” (Lionel) throws Jonathan into a wall that causes pots and pans to fall. “Clark” says “Tell me, Jonathan.” He is shocked at his son. The phone then rings. “Clark” says “Ignore it. You’re lovely wife won’t help you now.” “Clark” is about to hit him again when he hears Edgar on the answering machine with this message “Houston we have a problem…come see me ASAP.”

da Kryptonsite il titolo del sesto episodio di cui non si sa ancora molto:

CITAZIONE
All we know right now is this episode involves a "body jump" where Clark and Lionel switch bodies. Look for revelations for both characters, and for some humor to spring from the situation.
