CITAZIONE
According to TV Guide Online, the producers of Smallville are preparing a tribute to late Superman icon Christopher Reeve and it will air at the top of tomorrow's episode (Devoted).
Not further information is available.

Da KryptonSite - 5/10/2004

CITAZIONE

Added 10/4: TitanTV's "Devoted" description (thanks to SpoilerFix): "When two cheerleaders develop a love potion that arouses feelings of extreme devotion and jealousy, it causes a football player to attack Jason for "checking out" his girlfriend and prompts Chloe to hit on Clark. Also: Clark is made starting quarterback, a promotion that doesn't sit well with his new teammates; and Lex donates new uniforms to the team, but Clark is put off by the gesture, which he takes as an attempt to buy back his friendship."
- We hear that Chloe may take on a very unexpected role in this episode - that of a Smallville High cheerleader?!?! This we'll have to see to believe.

Da DTS - 25/09/04
La WB ha rilasciato la descrizione ufficiale dell'episodio:
CITAZIONE
THE STEPFORD BOYFRIENDS COME TO SMALLVILLE - Clark (Tom Welling) joins the football team at school and is immediately given the starting quarterback position after the old quarterback starts a fight with new coach Jason (Jensen Ackles). Curious about the behavior change in his old teammate, Clark and Lois (Erica Durance) investigate and discover that the cheerleaders are poisoning the teams' water with kryptonite, turning the players into Stepford-like boyfriends.

Da KryptonSite - 27/8/2004
CITAZIONE
Moneca Delain returns as her "Mara" character from "Velocity."

Da KryptonSite - 22/8/2004
CITAZIONE
Trademark Chloe snark has returned. "So many cheerleaders, so little cyanide" is one of the quips we are likely to hear.
- Abby is now described as "a rather homely girl with acne scars and frizzy hair."
- Lois makes a comment that, with all of the pressures of the new season on the football team, he will have "all the pressure of a team and a school and an entire town counting on you to be their hero." Aww. Clark is going to be Lois's hero.
- Although Abby claims that she saw Brett's veins go all poppy and that sort of thing, this may only be a psychological visage seen in a mirror. in other words, don't go counting on Abby making Lana ugly. It seems most just think Brett went crazy. Lois interviews a beefy football player and asks if this is the first time "Brett jumped the tracks."
- We get some background on Dr. Fine, and how she was overlooked when the pretty girls got their way. "With one surgery, that all changed," she said.
- Lois might get into trouble for snooping a bit too closely.
- There's a scene with Lana in bed at Smallville Medical Center, with Jason watching over her in vigil. "I'm sure you can't hear me, Lana, but if you had any idea how much you mean to me..." he says. Of course, "Mr. Hope-I'm-Not-Interrupting-Anything" Lex shows up behind him, also to visit Lana.

Da KryptonSite - 21/8/2004
CITAZIONE
Here's the spy report we received from the Templeton High School filming locations of Smallville: "Chloe is definately back. She has befriended Lois. We worked on a scene that took placee in the parking lot and in thee school. on Tuesday. Today we filmed a flashback scene to 2001 of a football prep rally. Lana is sitting on the dunk tank, and Whitney is leading the football team to the podium. He then proceeds to get Clark to try and throw a footbal at the dunk tank, which he proceeds to miss, due to his weakened power from Lana's Kryptonite nacklace. During this scene, the team mascot comes running up, and her hood is taken of by a member of the football scenee, and it turns out to be Abby, a pimple faced girl (skinny, not heavy) with glasses. The football player starts calling her Scabby Abby, which thee crowd starts chanting. Clark sticks up for her, but she runs away in tears. Th next scene takes place at the prep rally present day. Clark is now in the dunk tank, and Lois is throwing the football, cheered on by Chloe, which then drops Clark into the tank."
- We still don't know if Whitney's presence means Eric Johnson is returning, or if he's played by a new actor. We're hoping EJ is involved, although, he might still be honeymooning at the time of filming.

Da KryptonSite - 7/8/2004
CITAZIONE
Lois wants to meet with Dr. Fine for "a consultation," and says she just can't see anyone else.
- Lana meets with Dr. Fine to get her tattoo removed, and says she doesn't know where it came from. "It looks as if the sample was branded onto your skin," Dr. Fine says.
- Dr. Fine tells Abigail, "a boy who wants you because you're pretty isn't a boy you want." Shouldn't she be telling Lana this? Abigail seems to feel bad for her actions; Dr. Fine uses this to turn Abigail on Lana, who she says "is on to us."
- There are naked football players in this one! It seems they end up naked after they're attacked, or something. When Brett goes nuts and naked, he runs righ tinto Lois's windshield.
- Abigail says "I'm sorry, Lana" and gives her a kiss! Lana looks into the mirror and sees her pretty visage is now disfigured!
- Clark questions Abigail on what happened with Brett. Yay, journalistic Clark!
- Apparently in the rewrite process Abby became the daughter of Dr. Fine.
- Jonathan confronts Clark after Coach Quigley calls to tell him that Clark made the team. "I was going to tell you," Clark says. "When?" Jonathan asks.
- Lois ends up in the locker room to investigate, which leads to some Clark/Lois banter. "Last I checked you were missing some prerequisites for being in here," Clark says. "So you finally admit you've been checking me out," Lois retorts.
- There's a flashback scene to Abby in her freshman year, and a football player looks in her direction. "That boy's looking at you. Say hello." And the boy's name? Whitney! If this means Eric Johnson returning for a cameo, we're all for it, but we've heard nothing about him returning. Lana is with Whitney in this scene, and winces. When Brett picks on Abby, Whitney tells him to "grow up."

CITAZIONE
While Lois is driving and using her cell to set up a consultation with Dr. Fine, she pulls out a cassette recorder labeled “Torch” which he’s planning on using to frame the evil doctor. Suddenly a frantic and naked Brett runs in front of her car.

Dr. Fine feeds lies to Abby about Lana and threatens that if something isn’t done to harm Lana that Abby won’t receive any more treatments to make her beautiful.

Clark confronts Abby and asks her if she knew what happened to Brett.

Jason says “I’ll be right back”. It seems Jason is surprising Lana with something because he has her blindfolded. Lana smiles and is left on a stage. Abby uses this chance to kiss Lana. Lana is freaked out and Abby runs away. Lana sees her reflection in the mirror and her face is disfigured like Brett’s.

The actual face is normal. It’s the inner reflection of one’s self they see.

Clark is worried as he watches Lana through her hospital window as she lies unconscious. Chloe says that “she may be packing her bags for a yellow submarine ride. I believe the term is ‘tripping’.” Lana’s got an abnormally high serotonin level in her brain that is making her hallucinate. They know her symptoms are identical to Brett’s.

Jonathan visits Clark and they have a talk in the bleachers. Clark didn’t tell his dad that he made the team. Jonathon found out from Coach Quigley.

NEW SPOILERS!

Lana meets with Dr. Elise Fine regarding her tattoo. Dr. Fine is examining the strange insignia on Lana's back with awe. Lana is asked where she got the tattoo done, to which Lana replies she isn't sure. The Not so Good Doctor tells Lana that the tattoo wasn't made with ink. It appears that the symbol has been branded under her skin. Someone wanted to leave a mark she wouldn't easily forget.

There appears to be a Flashback to Freshman Year when Lana and Whitney were together. Whether Whitney makes an appearance in this Episode, who knows?

Something happens to Lana in this Episode as she ends up in the Hospital. It's unknown if it's the results of the tattoo or Abby does something to her.

Lois has taken Chloe's place in the investigation of Paranormal stuff as Lois confronts Dr. Fine regarding her experiments, in typical Lois Lane fashion, she gets into trouble.

Lois has already picked up on the fact that Clark is the town hero and appears to be the Star of the football team already. She calls him Big Man on Campus. But she then adds "Who knows what types of neuroses are hiding behind the ‘Big Man on Campus’ Mask.”

Lois follows Clark into the Men's Locker Room. Clark tries to get rid of her by telling her she's missing some prerequisites for being in there to Which Lois responds, "You finally admit you're checking me out." It seems Lois wants to do a story on him.

Additional NEW Spoilers

It seems there's revisions from early spoilers. Before, Abigail’s name was Abigail Murphy and Dr. Fine was a handsome man in his 30s. Now, it’s like a mother-daughter team. Abby’s been changed to Abby Fine. She’s still the acne-faced girl that Brett (the jock) calls “Scabby Abby”. Her mother is Dr. Elise Fine – silicone enhanced and only cares about her looks.

In the flashback scene, Dr. Fine and Abby walk down the hallway of Smallville High passing Whitney, Brett and other jocks. Dr. Fine loves the attention as some of the guys stare at her. She grows jealous when Whitney sees Lana and wraps his arm around her. Dr. Fine lectures her shy daughter to say hello to Brett and not let “girls like that get all the attention” because high school is a vicious competition. Later, Abby is alone when she opens up her locker and dog food comes pouring out. Brett did the prank and Whitney hits him in the back on the head and says “Grow up, Brett”.

Abigail is lying on an operating table while her mother (Dr. Fine) performs the surgery using a body mask of needles. I.V. bags of green liquid are nearby.

When Abby kisses Brett veins appear through his face. He’s now in the hospital. Dr. Fine says Brett got exactly what he deserved.

While Lana is lying face "down on the examination table wearing a bra" getting her insignia tattoo examined, Dr. Fine says eerily that she never forgets a face and remembers Lana (from the flashback scene). Lana pulls her top back on after Dr. Fine takes a tissue sample.

In the hospital scene with Lana, she is sleeping as Jason stands by her bedside and caresses her cheek. He says with emotion “I’m sure you can’t hear me, Lana, but if you had any idea how much you mean to me…” The moment is interrupted by Lex who walks in and asks Jason how Lana is doing. The doctors don’t know what is wrong with her yet.

Da kryptonsite:
CITAZIONE
There is a heavy-set ggirl named Abigail Murphy that two idiots named Brett and Randy feel the need to pick on. They call her "Scabby Abby," among other things. Clark defends her, and tells them to "go find some puppies to kick."
- There's a scene in the hospital with Abby getting a procedure to fix her face. The IV bags have a familiar green glow. The procedure, which leaves Abby with a new beautiful look, is supervised by... Lex! After Lex leaves the room, Abby gives her doctor, Dr. Fine, a kiss. After the kiss, Dr. Fine is left disfigured and ugly!
- There's a scene of Clark practicing with the football team, alongside Brett... and Jason, who is apparently coaching football at Smallville High.
- Apparently Abby's appearance changes making her suddenly a whole lot more attractive. She ends up making out with Brett in the shower of the locker room. "I never thought you'd turn out this hot," Brett says. "You have no idea how much that nickname hurt," Abby says, kissing him. When she kisses him passionately, Kryptonite veins branch across his face. Oh, no! We've gotten the sequel to "Craving!" After all is said and done, Brett is left with a grossly disfigured reflection.

Da DTS:
CITAZIONE
Teaser: There’s a flashback scene in the Talon. A heavy-set girl named Abigail Murphy is crying because two high-school jocks (Brett and Randy) are making fun of her and calling her “Ewww, Scabby Abby”. Clark intervenes and tells the jocks to leave her alone.

- Present day, Abigail is lying on an operating table inside a medical facility where a handsome surgeon, Dr. Fine, turns Abigail into a “strikingly beautiful girl” using a mask of needles, surgical tools, and I.V. bags of green liquid.

- Lex observes the procedure through a glass window. Lex is stunned and says “It’s like she’s a different person.”

- Dr. Fine says “Now people can see the person you’ve always been inside.” Abigail is thrilled and kisses the surgeon. Black veins appear across his face. He looks in the mirror and sees his now “horrifically disfigured face.”

- Clark, Jason and Brett are practicing on the football field. Jason says “Not bad, but try putting a little more heat on it.” Jason drills the ball for Clark to catch. Clark throws a great play back that almost knocks the wind out of Jason. He’s impressed and tells Clark to suit up.

- In the boy’s locker room, Abigail and Brett are showering together. She says “I bet you never dreamed you’d be making out with the girl you nicknamed ‘Scabby Abby’”. As she kisses him, kryptonite veins appear on his face. He glances at a mirror and stares in horror at his disfigured face. He claws at his face but his actual face is normal. It’s the monstrous reflection that he sees.
